Symphony No. 2, in C minor played by the Orchestra of NCRV, Hilversum
Conducted by Hans Rosbaud
This is one of the more rarely performed of Bruckner's symphonies. It was completed six years after his First Symphony, in 1872, and was performed in Vienna in the following year. The version used for this performance is Bruckner's original, published by the International Bruckner Society in 1938.
