Act 2 of La Machine Infernale by JEAN COCTEAU with an introduction by the author with Maria Casares
The Meeting of Oedipus and the Sphinx was the original play round which were created the other phases of La Machine Infernale, the four-act play on the Oedipus story, first produced by Louis Jouvet in Paris in 1934. An English version by Carl Wildman was broadcast recently.
