Talk by J. Z. Young , F.R.S.,
Professor of Anatomy at University College, London
In his Reith lectures Professor Young described some of his investigations into the learning processes of rhe octopus. He has recently returned from a visit to the Naples Aquarium, where he has been making a further set of experiments. In this talk he comments on the special facilities for research provided by marine stations, and describes the methods and results of a number of scientific investigations that are taking place in these establishments.
