‘ Dairying ’
Avis Colnett and a Young Farmer from Somerset
A young farmer from Somerset will give her views about some dairying problems. Avis Colnett, dairy instructress for the county of Gloucestershire, will comment on these and speak of her own experience.
Dairying has always been regarded as a woman's province, but modern methods are far removed from the musical-comedy dairymaid. This talk is important not only in showing the woman's point of view, but in showing how seriously mahy women regard the vocation of farming today.
