Regional Programme is a radio channel that started transmitting on the 9th March 1930 and ended on the 9th September 1939. It was replaced by BBC Home Service.

  Kenneth Harding studied composition at Aberystwyth under Sir Watford Davies. In 1927 he joined the Cardiff Station Orchestra, and later was appointed principal viola of the National Orchestra of Wales. At present he is a viola player in the BBC Symphony Orchestra. Many of his compositions have been broadcast in recent years by the Cardiff Ensemble, the BBC Welsh Orchestra, and the BBC Symphony Orchestra. 
Leslie Walters has written songs, piano pieces, and orchestral works, most of which have been broadcast. 
Of his most recent works he thinks the best is 'Calon Cymru ', which is his contribution to this programme tonight. It was first broadcast in October, 1937, Meirion Williams being the soloist.   
Dr Maldwyn Price has the distinction of being the first student ever to gain the degree of Mus.M. and Mus.Doc. at the University College of Wales at Aberystwyth. He is at present organist and choirmaster ot 
St. Mary's Church, Welshpool.
