A Lancashire Concert from Colne arranged by Arthur Spencer
Among those who are to represent Colne's music-making tonight are the Colne Orchestral Society, a remarkably complete and capable organisation — every player an amateur-which is now in its 46th season of subscription concerts. Others to be heard are the College Glee Party, singers from a working-men's club in Colne.
Colne's Orpheus Glee Union will be broadcasting in another Northern programme next Friday.
