T. 0. Corrin
Thousands of listeners have heard Alfredo Campoli and his Salon Orchestra broadcasting from London. Last summer he made his first appearance at the ' Proms ' when he played Paganini's Concerto in D arranged by Kreisler, and on Saturday next he comes to Belfast as soloist in the orchestral concert in the Wellington Hall arranged by the BBC in co-operation with Belfast City Y.M.C.A. Tonight T. 0. Corrin comes to the microphone to discuss the music to be played at this concert, and to let listeners hear excerpts from it on gramophone records.
The programme includes Lalo's
'Symphonie espagnole', which will be played by Alfredo Campoli and the BBC Northern Ireland Symphony Orchestra under Walton O'Donnell , and Sibelius's Symphony No. 1, in E minor.
