A further selection of tunes on unusual instruments
Presented by Raymond Glendenning
Raymond Glendenning presents another programme tonight containing some more kinds of ' musick' discovered in various parts of the province of Northern Ireland. Spoons and an accordion are among the unusual combinations he is to bring to the microphone. The others include an ocherina, a tin whistle, a harmonica, the Uillean pipes, and an Irish Ceilidh band.

from the Ulster Hall, Belfast
Choral music commands large audiences in Northern Ireland, and Belfast has a philharmonic choir that compares favourably with similar societies in other cities where resources arc greater. Tonight, however, listeners will hear a different kind of choral music altogether when the microphone goes to the Ulster Hall for the concert by the Waiata Maori Choir from New Zealand. These New Zealand choristers have delighted audiences wherever they have appeared. Traditional music and dances of their romantic race form a specially interesting part of their repertoire, and their concert should provide choral-music lovers with both entertainment and contrast.
