Short Story

Regional Programme London

In his first talk as Our Country Correspondent, Walter Pitchford , of Lamport, the well-known Midland broadcaster and writer of plays and features for radio, gave general impressions of the countryside. This talk is in the nature of a story-interlude, with mud as the villain of the plot. All who live in the country know what a villain mud can be.
