Castle Gate is the Mother Free Church of Nottingham, its position being analagous to that of Carr's Lane in Birmingham. Its story goes back more than 250 years. This is its first broadcast; it is one of three Midland Free Churches -the others being at Leicester and Northampton-which have recently been wired for broadcasting. The Rev. G. Hartley Holloway , its Minister, has conducted services for broadcasting in other centres on several occasions.
