' Midland Flying Clubs '

W. H. SUTCLIFFE and E. DONALD
WYNN The Midland Flying Clubs have done much to foster the development of civil aviation and to help the keen amateur. W. H. Sutcliffe is Secretary of the oldest of these organisations, the Midland Aero Club, Birmingham ; and E. Donald Wynn belongs to the Nottingham Flying Club. The future of the clubs, as well as their present and past, will be discussed.

This band was formed over sixty years ago. Successes since the War include Northamptonshire Challenge Shield (twice), the Coventry Cup (twice), Bedfordshire Eisteddfod, and Leicester Challenge Cup. At the last six contests in which it has competed the band has won five second prizes.
