A Radio Impression
Devised and produced by OWEN REED
One of the oldest and most popular regattas in the Midlands, that at Evesham, on the Avon, attracts crews from near and far. Indeed, the present holders of the principal award, the Bell Tower Trophy, are Liverpool Victoria. This trophy was a gift from the town to the Club in 1921 in honour of Evesham's fine record at regattas in various parts of the country just before that year ; it is a silver model of the Bell Tower. There are races for maiden fours, pairs and singles, as well as for senior fours, in the Evesham programme.
