T. A. WATERHOUSE
Mr. Waterhouse, who first broadcast in the Midland programmes in 1933, has been Chairman of the Severn Board of Conservators, the biggest fishery board in England and Wales, since 1932. He served for over eight years as Honorary Secretary of the National Federation of Anglers, and was then elected President. Since 1909 he has been President of the Birmingham Federation of Anglers, and the Leeds, Hereford, Hull, and Liverpool Associations have made him a life member. Frequently he has caught 600 to 700 fish in a year, and he has published a collection of his fishing yarns. It was largely through his efforts that direct angler representation on Fishery Boards was secured by the Freshwater Fisheries Act of 1923.
