by FRANCIS Fox
Francis Fox broadcast in the ' Travellers Return ' series last year, his subject being his experiences as a young mining engineer in the goldfields of Ashanti. Welford-on-Avon is the second of the Signposts series. It is not far from Stratford-on-Avon, has a fine maypole, an old church, some sixteenth-century cottages, and a quaint inn, ' The Four Alls ', on the banks of the river.
