Compere, JOHN WATT
FiRTH SHEPHERD presents
* LESLIE HENSON in 'SEEING STARS'
A Musical Comedy by Guy BOLTON and FRED THOMPSON
Lyrics by GRAHAM JOHN
Music by MARTIN BROONES
ACT II, Scene I The Cast includes
LESLIE HENSON
FLORENCE DESMOND
RICHARD HEARNE
MURIEL MONTROSE
LOUISE BROWNE
Roy ROYSTON
DEBROY SOMERS AND HIS BAND
Relayed from the Gaiety Theatre
The relay will open with the overture to the second act, followed by the entrance of the Gaiety chorus, all playing violins, luminous in the darkness. Then Richard Hearne , who has made a big hit as Colonel Stefan, plays the violin and dances a weird and eccentric dance. The music for this dance is a pot-pourri that includes an Irish jig, a hornpipe, a Russian dance melody, and the ' Never to be Forgotten Melody the theme song of the play.
Leslie Henson and Roy Royston make their entrance, and are later joined by Florence Desmond.
The overture includes most of the melodies that have helped to make Seeing Stars such a big success since it was produced at the end of October.
