Lindsey Rural Community Council have co-operated in this programme. Their chairman, Lord Heneage, is one of the speakers. The massed choirs of over three hundred voices will be conducted by Mr. Hedley Slack , of Lincoln, and will be relayed from a school there. Speakers will include Alderman W. A. Ross, who will discuss
'warping' on the Isle of Axholme ; Joseph Dawson , of South Ferriby, who will tell stories of smuggling days; George Mawer , a Wragby magistrate, who will talk about farming, and Miss Eleanor Stamp , of Louth, who will tell listeners about evening occupations in the villages .
