Teaching in Primary Schools
Do the children play too much? Are tables thoroughly taught? What about spelling? Miss M. V. DANIEL , who has trained many primary school teachers, talks with JOAN YORKE.
The Odd Man Out
Problem children are not necessarily neglected children or orphans, or from bad homes. There is often a ' difficult ' child in a normal, happy home. The speaker, who is a psychiatrist and a mother, considers some of the reasons why a child may become a trouble to his parents.
