by ALICE MOXON (Soprano)
Alice Moxon , a native of musical Bradford —as are also John Coates and Frederick Dolius-qualified as a school teacher, but the call of music was too strong. She graduated in the Bradford Amateur Operatic Society, and did such outstanding work there that she was quickly called to the professional ranks. Her first successes were with Sir Barrv Jackson 's Birmingham
Repertory Company, in the Bantock and Kennedy-Fraser opera, The Seal Woman, and in Sheridan's The Duenna. She first broadcast in 1925, and is now, equally with her husband Stuart Robertson , very well known to listeners.
