Food and Fitness: Physical

Take Your Choice
Phyllis C. Colson
Physical training is not the prerogative of the barrack square-it doesn't begin with ' On the toes rise' or end with ' Double mark time '. It includes everything that is attractive, from dancing to games, from walking to swimming or cycling. It is for you to make your choice. Your own particular likes or dislikes, the object you have in view (health, companionship, self-expression-whatever it may be), the district you live in, the time of year, your age, sex, and occupation, all will influence your choice. Miss Colson will give some hints about getting in touch with such clubs, organisations, and so forth as may exist in your particular town or neighbourhood.

Leader, Alfred Cave
Conducted by Leslie Heward (Solo oboe, LUCY VINCENT )
Blarney Lafone is an Argentine composer who was once a member of the Argentine Embassy in London. His music is essentially national in character, in that he largely makes use of Argentine folk tunes, with which he first became acquainted in his youth in the Argentine Andine Province of Catamarca.
