ONE of the most deserving institutions in Devonport is the Borough Hostel for
Women and Girls, which provides for them a temporary home. Tho Devonport branch was the pioneer in this cause, and opened in 1863 with a capital of £67. The charges made for the comfortable accommodation at the Hostel are extremely moderate.
