Script by Jeffrey Segal
Dr. and Mrs. Dale have decided to ask the Harrises and the Jack-sons for drinks at Wells Road in an attempt to patch up the differences between them. Mrs. Maggs has moved into her room in Gwen's house, much to Mrs. Freeman's relief. She now feels Gwen is property chaperoned. Dr. Dale has urged his partners to reduce the amount of barbiturates they prescribe, and to cease issuing repeat prescriptions of such drugs. Moira has registered for agency nursing, and she and Roddy have had their first row as a result.
