A new production in eight episodes with Peter Coke and Marjorie Westbury 3: The Ring
Helen Ferguson convinces Paul Temple that her son, Richard, is still alive. Robert, her husband, receiveS a 'phone call from Richard asking for money to be brought to an address in Lewisham, but when Paul and Steve arrive there they find the dead body of Red Harris. Paul and Steve go to Oxford to see Mavis Russell and on their arrival, Max Wyman , an undergraduate, calls to invite Steve to a cocktail party given by Mrs. Russell. Paul secretly warns Steve that Max is an impostor.
