by Francis Jones
Romantic writers have often chosen ruined castles as a setting for tales of unusual coincidences and weird happenings. An experience which befell the speaker in a ruined Welsh castle seems to confirm the validity of such a choice.

Marie-Madeleine
In the months that followed June 1940, Resistance Groups began to form throughout France. One of their leaders was a young woman of twenty-seven, Marie-Madeleine Fourcade , and from then until the end of the war she risked her life for her country's liberation.
It was this same devotion to France that forced her in 1957 to join the movement working for the return of General de Gaulle. This was for her the logical continuation of her work in the Resistance Movement for the regeneration of France.

Produced by David Glencross
