Last week Count Trollac was left a virtual prisoner in the Palace of the usurper Henry, and Pixie, who had gone off by herself to try to recover the crown, was, lying drugged and helpless in the hut of the Wise Woman. And still everyone at Trollsgarde was playing a waiting game-no one quite sure how much the others knew.
