This truly spectacular World War I drama is the story of Germany's flying aces whose highest honour was the legendary medal awarded for gallantry in the air. George Peppard stars as Bruno Stachel , a ruthless young pilot who uses everyone to further his ambition of winning The Blue Max - including the beautiful but spoiled wife of Count von Klugermann of the Imperial High Command.
