"If we don't win, it's because we aren't trying hard enough."
Colin Chapman started his highly successful career building a home-made racing car in a dilapidated garage in Hornsey. Now he owns a brand-new factory in Norfolk turning out three thousand Lotus sports cars a year. And since those early days he has also found time to revolutionise Grand Prix racing. In this film, Richard Kershaw tries to keep up with him as he flies between his office in East Anglia and the Grand Prix circuits of Europe.
