The Boat Race
The 123rd encounter between Oxford and Cambridge, rowed over the traditional 4i-mile course from Putney to Mortlake, marks the 50th anniversary of the first broadcast of the race. It's also a very special day for commentator John Snagge , who'll be covering the event for the 47th year. Joining him will be BRIAN JOHNSTON on Chiswick Bridge with JUDITH CHALMERS in a riverside pub helping to bring you the unique atmosphere of Boat Race Day.
