Len Jackson introduces Peggy Seeger and Ewan MacColl

Peggy Seeger says: "We're just singing the songs we like: there's no particular scheme behind the selection. Our normal concerts cover two hours, so you can't easily showcase two people, five instruments (guitar, 5-string banjo, Appalachian dulcimer, autoharp and English concertina) and two cultures - American and British in a shorter time. One connoisseur's song is 'Chylde Owlet,' a rare, very violent ballad in heavy Scots dialect."
