When this Wildlife on One film was first shown in 1981,itit destroyed many of the myths about urban foxes. They turned out not to be the dirty, mangy vicious animals that most people believe: they don't feed exclusively from dustbins, and they don't kill cats.
But it also showed that there are indeed a lot of foxes in some of our cities - living on waste ground, under back garden sheds or in cellars, even dozing in the sun on your roof.
