In July 1969, the first man landed on the moon. At a major international conference held in London in June, experts from all over the world met to discuss the results of their work on the material obtained by the Apollo missions.
Patrick Moore talks to the scientists about some of the new and unexpected conclusions which have emerged and discusses their importance with Professor Geoffrey Eglinton of Bristol University.

Having lost his own submarine during a raid on Japan's Bungo Straits, Commander 'Rich' Richardson assumes control of the USS Nerka - and incurs the resentment of his executive officer Lieut Bledsoe, who had anticipated command of the vessel. Once at sea, Richardson defies his orders and heads once more for the infamous Bungo Straits, 'graveyard of submarines'.
