From over 5,000 entries, 31 girls compete at London's Lyceum Ballroom in the final stages of a nationwide contest to select the three most beautiful girls in England, Scotland and Wales who will represent their countries in both the Miss Universe contest at Puerto Rico and in the Miss UK competition, where victory would put them in the running for the Miss World title.
