Rick Jones, Dawn MacDonald, Jonathan Collins invite you to follow them to a place where anything can happen.

Canadian-born Rick Jones has been a great favourite with young viewers of Play School for four years now. Children who now miss Play School because they're at school will be especially delighted to see him every week in Whoosh! 'The main difference,' says Rick, 'is that Play School left children with something to do. Whoosh! leaves them with something to dream about.'

Featuring Racing... Motoring... Gymnastics... Test Cricket
and the Rugby League Cup Semi-Final from Swinton: Leeds v. Wigan
Wigan have a happy knack of reaching Wembley. They won the first-ever Challenge Cup final at Wembley back in 1929 by beating Dewsbury, and if they get there again this year it will be for the seventh time in the last eleven seasons.
But they could hardly be confronted by a more formidable hurdle than Leeds. The Yorkshiremen are the present League leaders and will be seeking revenge for their defeat when they met Wigan in the semi-finals two years ago.
Wigan, whose last six Wembley appearances have brought them three wins and three defeats, expect to have two stalwarts in their team-Eric Ashton, 33-year-old captain and coach, and Billy Boston, who will be on the right wing.
One Leeds star to watch-the former Rugby Union ace Bev Risman, the League's leading goal-kicker, who will be at full-back.
The final will be at Wembley on May 11 between today's winners and the victors of last week's semi-final between Wakefield and Huddersfield.
