Fantastic! Thank you, Bunuel! Whenever I post a solution, I always like to preview it, and it scared me a little bit when the preview wouldn't display correctly. (I am a perfectionist, and I didn't want a post of mine to look half-baked.)
After you checked that the formulas would still (eventually) post correctly, this gave me an idea that could work for anyone else who runs into this issue. I opened up a Quant question and wrote my reply in that editor. This allowed me to preview the formulas so I knew they looked good. Then, I just copied the text of that reply into a reply for the original Verbal question I wanted to answer. The math equations still looked terrible when I "previewed" the response, but when I hit "
Submit," everything appeared the way it was supposed to be. Mission accomplished.
