This band has been in existence for over fifty years, and is well known in the West of England for its services to charitable and social work. The band has won more than seventy prizes, and a number of gold and silver medals have been won by the soloists.

Foreign visitors to the West Country may find it difficult to understand us at the best of times, but the seaside town in summer must tax all their comprehension. Tonight several visitors from abroad will discuss amongst themselves their reactions to the West in holiday mood
