Y mae'r Elim presennol yn drydydd capel, ac adeiladwyd ef am gost o £1,805 yn 1876, mewn lie mwy cyfleus yng nghanol pentref cynhyddol Porth Dinorwig. Adnewyddwyd ef yn 1900, a chafwyd Organ hardd yn 1908. Bu amryw o ddynion galluog a da yn gwasanaethu'r achos, a deil yr eglwys yn lewyrchus o hyd. Brodor o Ystumtuen, Sir Aberteifi, ydyw'r gweinidog presenno!. Bu am bum mlynedd yn lowr yn y De cyn ymgeisio am y weinidogaeth. Y mae'n wr graddedig o Brifysgol Cymru a Phrifysgol Caergrawnt. Ordeiniwyd ef yn 1932. Y mae'n hoff o lenydda, ac efe sydd eleni yn ysgrifennu ar y Salmau i'r ' Cyfarwyddwr'.
