PORTLAND CHURCH is the oldest Methodist Church in Bristol, and it is interesting to know that a Portland man introduced Methodism into America and built the first Chapel in New York.

THE SOUTH WALES Coalfields' Federation of Girls' Clubs is an organisation which has as its main objects the encouragement of the formation of ' Open ' Clubs for girls in the mining villages of South Wales, the running of a Summer Holiday Camp for members of affiliated Clubs and the training of leaders for work in the different centres.
