: THE WEEK'S GOOD CAUSE

An appeal on behalf of THE ABERTILLERY CHILDREN'S
BOOT FUND by the Rt. Hon. WILLIAM BRACE
This appeal is for contributions to assist the local boot fund committee to provide footwear for elementary schoolchildren whose parents, owing to unemployment, are unable to do so themselves. The fund is a voluntary one and was established in 1931. It is administered by a committee representative of the urban district council, education committee, and the National Union of Teachers.
