This programme will bring many interesting local personalities to the microphone.
There is, for example, eighty-two year old Donald Wishart , who will speak on the old markets, the ' feills ' as they were called, of sixty or seventy years ago. The modern market will be discussed by an uncle and nephew, T. W. and Duncan McCallum. Robert Campbell , who will describe his daily life as a ploughman, is the champion chill ploughman of the district. Provost Macrae , Rita Scott , and Thomas Mackenzie will take part in a short specimen Ceilidh.
These are only a few of the people taking part in this colourful broadcast.
