J. W. COWIE 'S NEW CANTATA, The Resurrection, has been scored for four solo voices, chorus, strings, trumpets, and tympani. Listeners may remember Mr. Cowie's Via Crucis, which was broadcast some five years ago and which has since enjoyed considerable popularity in Scotland. Mr. Cowie is organist to the Church of St. Cuthbert, a church which has had a long association with broadcasting.
