This event is held under the International Sporting code of the Association Internationale des Automobile Clubs Reconnus, and is organised by the Derby and District Motor Club. The number of starters is limited to fifteen. The race is over 120 laps of the Donington Park Circuit (which is 2 miles 971 yards in length). The first prize is C400 and the Donington Park Trophy (to be held for one year) with replica. All three commentators are well-known experts on motor racing. Mr. Howell, who is Birmingham and District Manager of the R.A.C., has broadcast eye-witness accounts of other Donington Park contests.
