11. s. WILLIAMS-THOMAS is Managing Director of a Brierley Hill firm, from whose works an industrial relay was given in Staffordshire County Week. He is a member of the Advisory Committee responsible for the selection at the Exhibition of British Art at Burlington House. Fine glass-making has been a Midland speciality since at least 1650. All the better-class English table glass was, and is, made within a radius of fifteen miles of Stourbridge. Mr. Williams-Thomas will survey the development of the industry, the changes in design and the conditions.
