Kevin Fitzgerald
What is going to happen to children in a world becoming year by year the poorer in the benevolence, patience, and munificent attention of aunts ? This is the question which Kevin Fitzgerald asks listeners in his broadcast today. The small family of today, he declares, finds youngsters thrown back upon their parents, whose duty it must obviously be to shoulder the tasks hitherto borne so willingly by aunts.

10.32 God Save the King
Tonight the Proms will come to a close in the usual hilarious pandemonium of cheering, umbrella-thumping, and acclamation for Sir Henry Wood and the Orchestra. The scene on the floor of the Queen's Hall is a unique one, crowded with humorous incidents as well as roars of enthusiastic affection. Two years ago Frederick Grisewood described this scene. Tonight he will again be present, and, from a position in the organ loft, from which he can see the entire floor of the Hall, will bring a picture of the occasion to listeners.
Tickets can be obtained from the British Broadcasting Corporation, Broadcasting House, Portland Place, W.1, Messrs. Chappell's Box Office, Queen's Hall, Langham Place, W.1, and the usual Agents. Prices : 7s. 6d., 6s., 5s. (reserved), 3s. (unreserved). Promenade (payment at doors only) 2s.
