D. A. Spencer
Last Monday Dr Spencer, who is President of the Royal Photographic Society, gave hints on how to get better snapshots. Today he will describe some of the ways in which photography is useful to man. He will show that it has played a prominent, and in some cases an indispensable, part in the advance of astronomy, of medicine, of meteorology, and of the science of warfare.

By a Doctor
The guest in someone else's house probably sees only what he is intended to see. But if he should visit it on business, then the life of the household is not changed on his account and he may get a real insight into the way the other man lives. Every Monday afternoon, at this time, until August 9 a member of some different trade or profession that takes him into other people's houses, will tell listeners what strikes him about these houses and their occupants, as he goes about his work. Today it will be a doctor and next week a door-to-door salesman.
