The tolling of the historic -bell of Cabillo in Buenos Aires Asi ha'i ser (old ' cueca ' from the provinces bordering on Chile) El Chupino (Cat's Dance) Marcha de San Lorenzo (Argentine military march)
The Argentine Association of Broadcasters has arranged this programme in collaboration with the Union Internationale de Radiodiffusion. Amongst the soloists are Carlos Varela , Felix Perez Cardozo (harp),
- and Patrocinio Diaz. The various instrumental combinations taking part are a symphony orchestra, conducted by Manuel Almirall ; a characteristic Argentine orchestra, conducted by Feliciano Brunelli ; Roberto Firpo 's tipica orchestra and quartet; Duo Campo-Flores's, guitar and harp accompaniments ; and Gomez's and Davis's guitar trio.
