: Performance on 3 Judith Weir. Telling the Tale

With Tom Service. This last broadcast concert from the January composer weekend includes the first performance of Judith Weir 's Concrete, commissioned by the BBC for the occasion. Taking the Barbican itself as her inspiration, this is a large-scale work for chorus and orchestra subtitled "a motet about London."
