It is known to millions as the venue for the annual New Year's Day concert which is broadcast live on TV every year. The ornate concert hall is turned into a ballroom and features music by the Strauss family. Home to the great Vienna Philharmonic since 1870, its perfect acoustics have attracted the biggest names in music.
