This 20-piece big band has been together for almost three years, providing a platform for young black musicians to develop their talents. Several members now lead their own bands, including the vibes player
Orphey Robinson and the tenor saxophonist Courtney Pine , already one of the most celebrated young jazz musicians in Europe.
The band plays new pieces by Harry Beckett , Courtney Pine and Fayaz Virji.
