: Schubert's Symphonic Sketches

Brian Newbould examines Schubert's plans for a Symphony in d major (d 708a), written in 1821 just before the SymphonyNo7.InI major, which survives only in incomplete form. He has deciphered fragments of four movements plus a further rejected section.
The music is played by the BBC WELSH SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA, conducted by OWAIN ARWEL HUGHES.
