Since its premiere In Seattle in 1970 this musical setting of the Pulitzer Prize-winning novel has won wide acclaim throughout the United States. Floyd uses an approachable and romantic idiom to tell the story of two itinerant farm workers, George and Lennie, and their hopeless dream of owning a farm.
