: BBC Proms in the Park

Live from London's Hyde Park and including link-ups with Glasgow, Belfast and Swansea, an evening of popular classics from the BBC Concert Orchestra and the the Royal Choral Society, conducted by both Martin Yates and the winner of BBC TV's conductor competition series Maestro. Guests include tenor Jose Carreras, soprano Lesley Garrett and violinist David Garrett. Terry Wogan hosts the 13th annual event, which also features rock-pop singer Sharleen Spiteri.
And at approximately 9.45 the grand finale from the Royal Albert Hall.

The Last Night of the Proms is broadcast on Radio 3 from 7.30pm and on BBC2 at 8.00pm (part 1) and BBC1 at 9.10pm (part 2).
